If you are travelling to Nepal, you will require tourist visa except for Indian nationality. You can obtain visa from your country if your country has Nepalese embassy or consulate. If not, or if they are far from your home then you just have to carry your valid passport and 2 pp size photos with you when you come to Nepal. You can get tourist visa on arrival at Kathmandu international airport or any land entry of Nepal. On your arrival at the airport you have to fill up a form and submit it to visa officer with photos, then you can get your visa immediately.
You can get 15 days/ 30 days and 90 days visa on arrival, after that if you need to stay longer then you can ask for maximum of 150 days in a period of one year.
